A word of THANKS to Alliance members who wrote, called, and tweeted their Senators
I want to say a word of THANKS to all of the members of the Alliance who wrote, called, and tweeted their Republican Senators resulting in the tabling today of the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA). Your efforts have made a difference in the lives of millions of Americans.
Moving forward with our advocacy efforts around the House 2018 budget blueprint announced today, the Alliance’s priorities will be the same — ensuring access, including for those with pre-existing conditions; protecting Medicaid and allowing for rates of growth that reflect the reality of an aging population; and, strengthening and expanding community health centers and programs that have a proven record of delivering quality services.
The one thing that everybody agrees on is that our health system is not perfect. It is time for Congress to start working in a bipartisan fashion and serve the interests of the nation. That will only happen with your voice and we are proud to work with you to ensure the best health outcomes for all.
Best,
Jane
