Comments to ACOG and HRSA on Women’s Preventive Services Initiative

Alliance submitted comments to ACOG and HRSA stating that: women face a number of unique health issues and concerns that are ignored; cultural, ethnic and genomic differences—some quite significant—among women are not reflected in the recommendations; the central role of mental health services in women’s health and well-being is absent from the preventive services recommendations; and, the Initiative lacks the transparency that usually accompanies public guideline setting activities.
